How to Install a Steadyrack Bike Rack

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

When fitting your bike rack, we recommend yous measure and mount your Steadyrack's to accommodate each individual bicycle following the installation instructions for optimal performance.

In your Steadyrack box yous will observe fixings to install your rack in either Masonry (brick/concrete) or Timber.

All Steadyrack bike racks can be assembled and then mounted on whatever structurally audio vertical surface capable of supporting the weight of the rack and bike.

Before yous go started:

We practise not recommend installing your Steadyrack into gyprock, plasterboard, or drywall. Doing so volition void your Steadyrack warranty. The provided wall plugs are for masonry use only.

Place the bike on the floor in the rack equally shown, get out a gap between the back tire and the wall (A) between 50mm and 75mm is ideal. Installing the rear tire rest

Take your bike and hang it in the rack.

Have the rear tire rest and place it behind the rear tire against the wall in line with the rear beam off your wheel (Chiliad).

Place a mark on the wall through the pinnacle mounting hole. This will requite you the mounting height for the rest.

Remove the rest and bicycle.

Accept your spirit level and place it in the center of your rack against the wall. Ensure the rear tire rest and rack are level.

Drill a hole on this marking - encounter notes below.

Fit your rear tire rest loosely using that hole.

Check the residual is level and mark the 2nd pigsty.

Remove the remainder and drill the pigsty for the 2nd bolt as above.

Install the rest.
